A friendly letter is also called a personal letter. We can write to friends, relatives, peers, request for friendship or anyone with whom you have relationship with.

Parts of a friendly letter

  • Heading
  • Salutation
  • Body
  • Closing 

 

After writing a letter you can put it in an envelope, seal then send it.

Below is an envelope that can be used. On top you indicate name and address of the recipient.

It does not require references.

Has one address (the senders) at the top right hand side of the page.

It is a mean to communicate and remain in touch

Expressing oneseif widely is allowed unlike in an official letter.

Signatue is not neccessary at times
