Body Parts

The human body is made up of many different parts.

It has legs, hands, head, eyes, ears, nose, teeth and many more.

There are those parts located outside and others located inside the body.

External body parts are those parts located outside the body and can be seen.

  • Eyes are for seeing.
  • Ears are for hearing.
  • The neck joins the head to the body.
  • We work or hold things with our hands.
  • We kneel down on our knees.
  • We smell with our nose.
  • Legs help us to stand straight and walk.

Internal body parts are the parts located inside the body and cannot be seen.

These internal and external body parts have various functions in the body.

These functions are:

  1. Sensing
  2. Digestion
  3. Excretion
  4. Breathing
  5. Circulation
  6. Reproduction
